All the fun of the circus comes to your local library! Come watch the Amazing Fratello Marionettes perform on Saturday, August 2nd. Free. Performances at El Gabilan Library, 1400 N. Main, noon... Cesar Chavez Library, 615 Williams Rd, 2 pm... Steinbeck Library, 350 Lincoln Ave., 4 pm.
Circus Vargus visits Oldtown
Visit Oldtown Salinas on Friday, September 5th and meet a Circus vargus Clown! There will be entertainment and "clowning around" from 4:30-5pm in the lobby of the Maya Cinema and then again on the streets during First Fridays from 5-5:30pm. Old Train Trestle offers a New Welcome!
The repainting of the Train Trestle at Market and Main Street is complete. The trestle now boasts a "Welcome to Oldtown" sign and a fresh, clean look. Thanks to the dedicated Train Trestle Committee's hard work, an eye sore with possibilities has become a testimony to our city's vision of greatness!

Are you new to Oldtown? Have you operated a business for years, but want to know more about the Association and its benefits and programs?
The Oldtown Salinas Association will be holding monthly orientation meetings for new AND existing members. Information will include a history of the association, the benefits of Business Improvement Districts, and a presentation of the Oldtown Salinas Association programs, activities, and member support. Ask questions, bring your ideas, and get involved!
Meetings will be held the last Monday of every month at 9am beginning Monday, July 28th in the National Steinbeck Center Conference room (downstairs in the Administration offices). RSVP's are appreciated.
